Dissertation Proposal Guidelines.

Writing Dissertation is one of the most tedious and monotonous tasks considered by most of the researchers. After the research work is carried out, the next job before the researcher is dissertation writing. Dissertation basically highlights researcher’s research i.e. aims or objectives, findings and conclusions. The dissertation process is usually undertaken for personal reasons or to obtain a degree or any professional qualification. Writing dissertation consumes a lot of time and effort of the researcher. So, to make your dissertation writing effective, enlisted below are certain guidelines, which should be always kept in mind while taking up this task:
  •  Knowledge about the topic: It’s important to have in-depth and thorough knowledge of the proposal topic. You should be well-versed about all aspects of the topic before you take up the writing process of the dissertation.

  • Length of the Proposal: There is no hard and fast rule as to what should be the length of your dissertation proposal. But an ideal proposal is expected to be around 20 pages long.   • Major parts of the dissertation:

    • Introduction:  The introduction should summarize the basic reasons behind the research. It should highlight the problem statement and give a brief overview of the dissertation proposal.     • Time management: Since dissertation writing takes up a lot of time, so allot yourself some time for finishing up the proposal. Stick to the time limit while writing the proposal otherwise you are bound to put yourself in a big trouble.
